My Mother is the Universe

My Father is the Tao

Tao Is

Tao is Change and Transition

Tao is Emptiness and Fullness

Tao is Small and yet is Massive

Tao is Golden in its Silence

Tao is Time and Space and Matter

and is Something Else Beyond

Tao is Past and Present and Future

and the Moments In-Between.

Tao is Light and Darkness Merging

Tao is Water ever-flowing

Tao is Planets ever-circling

Tao is beauty in the Flower

Tao is beauty in the Rain

Tao is present in This Moment, Always Flowing, Always Now

And it's only our Perception that seeks to hide it from Our View

Tao is Cyclical in Nature; from all Death will Life succeed

Things grow strong, sustain, and Falter, then revert to their seed

Clocks and Seasons go in Circles

As do Stars and Galaxies

Strength gives way to Weakness, Coastlines to the Sea

Yin and Yang may play Forever

And never will the balance break

All is Manifest of Tao

All is Subject to its Game.

To walk in step with Tao

One must live within This Moment

Cast away yon doubts and worries

Cast away desires and schemes

Cast away opinions and yearning

Melt into the moment of being

in order to sleep, I sleep

in order to eat, I eat

in order to work, I work

Attachment, Reputation, Desire, Force, Spoken Morals

- these obscure tranquility of Tao.

Simplicity and Looseness advance spontaneity of Tao.

Tao Is

My Mother is the Universe

My Father is the Tao

We Go On and On Forever

And the beauty we find is now
